DOVER - Lloyd J. Galbreath passed away Friday, March 1, 2013 at Kent General Hospital. Mr. Galbreath was born May 10, 1931 in Detroit, Mich. to the late James A. and Reah Lundy Galbreath. He served 4 years in the US Air Force, during the Korean Conflict era. Following his military service, he worked for Chrysler in Detroit for one year, then returned to Dover, and was a civil service worker on C-5 engines at Dover Air Force Base from 1956 until his retirement in 1986. Mr. Galbreath is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dorothy of Dover; sons, William Galbreath and wife Kathy of Rehoboth, Ronald Galbreath and wife Susan of Magnolia, and Ralph Galbreath and wife Susan of Dagsboro; daughter, Lisa Clough and husband Brian of Felton; grandchildren, Courtney Galbreath, Aaron Brown, Lauren Mink and husband Nick, Jennifer Matticks and husband Joshua, Cameron Galbreath, Justin Clough and wife Ashley, Brittany Clough, Tyler Galbreath, Chelsea Zweigle, Logan Galbreath, Madison Galbreath, and Caleb Galbreath; great-grandchildren, Collin Galbreath, Elizabeth Mink, and Jordyn Matticks; and sister, Geraldine Wright of Lincoln Park, Mich. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10). Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in the military section of Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover.
