SEAFORD - Lizzie D. Corbett died on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012. Lizzie owned and operated Liz's Beauty Shop in Seaford for over 50 years. She had several ladies as customers for over 40 years and one for 52 years. She was known by most of the town of Seaford as Lizzie or Arlie or Jerry's mom. She was a member of the Seaford Elks Lodge. She helped form the Six Pack, a group of six ladies who put on dinners for the lodge as fund raisers. She loved playing Bingo on Wednesday nights at the lodge. She loved to read. Her favorite authors were Dorothy Garlock & Danielle Steel. She loved to dance, draw and plaint. Many paintings were done for family members and friends. She enjoyed bowling and bowled in several leagues thru the years. She enjoyed playing games especially Canasta. She also enjoyed watching the Phillies, her favorite player was Carlos Ruiz. She loved birds especially cardinals. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She had no greater joy than watching her grandchildren grow up. She was preceded in death by a son, Terry Wooters. Lizzie is survived by her husband, Edward Corbett; sons, Jerry Wooters and Arlie Wooters; four grandchildren, Arlie Wooters IV, Terry Wooters, Cassie Wooters and Mackenzie Wooters; daughters, Sandy Vincent, Missy Dupre, Dawn Lloyd and Linda Dean and their children.
