MILFORD - Lisa Marie Thompson passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa. Lisa was a graduate of Sussex Tech High School class of 1995 and was a childcare provider before her disability. She liked dolphins, listening to music and enjoyed fishing. Lisa's true devotion was to her family especially her younger nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Theodore and Mary Ann Thompson; and her aunt, Julia Ann Turner. Lisa is survived by her mother, Wanda Lee (Thompson) McGraw of Millsboro; her fiancé, Mike Studte of Milford; two sisters, Rebecca Thompson of Milton and Crystal Thompson of Lewes; a brother, Phillip James of Millsboro; aunt, Mary Jane Campbell of Millsboro; two uncles, Ted (Stephanie) Thompson of Georgetown and Joe (Tammy) Thompson of Lincoln; five nieces, Kora, Haley, Allison, Emily and Carly; three nephews, Kyle, Jessie and Michael; and numerous cousins. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013 at the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Rd., Millsboro, DE.
