MARION STATION - Lisa E. Gerald, 53, of Marion Station, died Monday, Oct., 10, 2011, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Born in Menden Hall, Penn. on January 29, 1958, she was a daughter of Eleanor Guest Smith of Honey Brook, Pa. and the late Lewis B. Smith. She had been making her home in Maryland since 1974. She was currently a cashier at Wal-Mart in Pocomoke City. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her mother, Eleanor Smith, she is survived by her husband of 37 years, Gary G. Gerald of Marion Station; three children, Jenny Gerald and her fiancé Chris Ennis of Pocomoke City, Gary L. Gerald and his wife Caitlin of Crisfield, and Alexander Gerald of Marion Station; five grandchildren, Jonathan, David, Alexis, Alyssa and Abigale; one great grandchild; one sister, Myrtle Thomas of Honey Brook, Pa.; three brothers, Larry Smith of West Chester, Pa., Carl Smith of Chadds Ford, Pa. and Jeff Smith of Chadds Ford, Pa.; and one niece, Krissy March of Honey Brook, Pa. Along with her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Elwood Smith. Memorial services were be 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011, at the Crisfield Elks Lodge #1044. Rev. Joseph Barnes officiated.
