Linwood George Lively

MILLINGTON, Md. - Linwood "Jake" George Lively, Jr. died on Monday, Nov. 12, 2012 at Chester River Manor in Chestertown. Born in Maryland on Feb. 23, 1931, he was the son of the late Linwood George, Sr. and Inez Ruffin Lively. Mr. Lively worked at Vita Foods until closing. He enjoyed doing odd jobs and carpentry work around the county and community. He also enjoyed doing yard work. Staying busy is what made him happy. In addition to his wife, Shirley Lively, he is survived by a son, Linwood O'Neal Lively of Georgetown; a brother, James Lively of Va.; and three sisters, Elizabeth Lively of Morgnec, Sarah White of Dutchtown and Margaret Wesley of Chestertown, Md. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 19, 2012 at John Wesley United Methodist Church where a visitation will be held on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Monday, prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Arrangements by Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, P.A. 370 W.
