CLAYTON - Linda Marion Blyth formerly Linda Fletcher passed away at St. Francis Hospital in Wilmington, Del. on Thursday March 7, 2013 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Mrs. Blyth was born July 15, 1952 in Philadelphia, Pa., the daughter of Robert Sleva of Milford, Del. and Marion Juniewicz Marvel of Milford, Del. She worked for many years for Dr. Donlick in Clayton. Linda enjoyed going to the beach, riding and caring for horses. She also enjoyed teaching Sunday school for many years. However, her greatest joy was spending time with her family; especially her grandsons. Linda was known to be a pillar of the Smyrna-Clayton community and was loved by many, no person was a stranger to her. She was a very warm and social person. She is survived by her loving husband, Howard; two sons, Travis Fletcher of Greenville, N.C. and Keith Fletcher of Smyrna, Del.; her daughter, Lindsay Thompson and her husband, William of Pittsboro, N.C.; a step-daughter, Natalie Blyth of Bromley Kent, England; a step-son, Ian Blyth of Palo Alto, Pa.; her step-mother, Jean Sleva of Milford, Del.; her sister, Diane Lynch and her husband, Greg of Milford, Del.; her brother, Bob Sleva and his wife, Jodie of Milford, Del; three grandchildren, Travis, Kellen, and Elliott; and three step-grandchildren, Christian, Oliver, and Cameron. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel located at 29 S. Main St. Smyrna, DE, where friends may call at 9 am. Burial will be in the Milford Community Cemetery in Milford, Del. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Compassionate Care Hospice, 702-B Kirkwood Hwy., Wilmington, DE 19805.
