FELTON - Linda E. Steiner passed away on Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014 at Christiana Medical Center. Linda was the daughter of the late Robert J. and Lettie M. (Williamson) Valdesere. She was a homemaker, an avid bowler, loved horses, but her greatest joy was her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Joey Valdesere. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Charles W. Steiner; her children, Kelly-Jo Steiner, Samantha-Jo Steiner, Charles Steiner Jr. and wife Tina and Sean Steiner; sisters, Peggy Tice, Robin Green, and Terry Long; grandchildren, Heather, Jesse, Taylor, Tia, Jeffrey, Robert and Jerry and also two great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 12:30 p.m. on Wed., Aug. 27, 2014 in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 East Market St., Georgetown, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Burial will be in Delaware Veterans Cemetery in Millsboro.
