Lillian Marie Ergenzinger Weaver

Ergenzinger Weaver, 92 DOVER - Lillian Marie Ergenzinger Weaver passed away peacefully on Feb. 15, 2013, at the home of her daughter, Judy Carrow, surrounded by her loving family. Lillian was born in New York City, April 1, 1920, to the late Jacob and Magdalena Petri. Raised in Amityville, Long Island, she moved to Delaware in the 1940's. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Marydel, Md., a charter member of the Camden/Wyoming Moose Lodge where she served as Sr. Regent, and a member of the Modern Maturity Center. She was a stay at home mother of eight and then worked as a salesperson for F. W. Woolworths and then Woolco for 30 combined years. She loved playing bingo, loved bowling, going to Dover Downs casinos, and growing beautiful roses in her garden. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Walter Ergenzinger and John Weaver; her brother and his wife, Henry and Rita Petri; daughter, Rita Hart; grandson, David Wawak ; son-in–law, John Carrow, and; a great granddaughter, Patricia Dalton. She is survived by her daughters, Cecelia Long and her husband Ernest of Wyoming, Del., Marie Hagood of the Villages, Fla., Judy Carrow of Dover; her sons, Frank Ergenzinger and his wife Dottie of Dover, Edward Ergenzinger and his wife Lois of Dover, Walter Ergenzinger and his wife Ginger of Dover, and Carl Ergenzinger of Wyoming; stepson, John Weaver and his wife Inge of Barclay,Md.; 19 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren, and six great- great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon, Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church ,522 Main Street, Marydel, MD 21649 where friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Dover. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Immaculate Conception Church P.O. Box 399 Marydel, Maryland 21649.
