City Councilman (Brian) Lewis is a former Washington, D.C. policeman and a training officer for the Delaware Department of Correction. He is more than qualified to carry out the duties of the sheriff. We sit alongside of each other in the City Council Chambers. Whether we agree or disagree on issues, I know he is always seeking to help the citizens of Dover. As sheriff, I am confidant he will do the same for all of the citizens of Kent County.
