Currently, our state legislators are pushing through restrictive, “infringing” gun-control bills in the name of “protecting our children.”
While this will be challenged in court as being unconstitutional, the question remains: Why can’t schools be secured? Why aren’t doors locked, alarmed and monitored? Magnetic locks can be released all at once in the case of an emergency. Why are there no entry-control monitors at what should be the only entry point into a school? While a quick response seems to be the key to prevention of injuries, why are there no designated personnel to respond whenever a door alarm would be activated? Money? There seems to be plenty of COVID-19 money still around.
Seems to me the answer is that they don’t really care about kids. Or maybe because there haven’t been any mass school shootings in Delaware. Maybe they just want to be good little Democrats — start to get rid of guns, keep Joe Biden happy, keep the federal dollars flowing into Delaware and continue to spend away!
