In response to Rep. Paul Baumbach, D-Newark: You are wrong on every level (“Lawmakers need to continue reforming voting systems,” June 26). U.S. states were given the authority to regulate elections for a specific purpose, so that no national party could unduly influence a national election.
You seem to not understand how or care how our great republic was formed. Voting is the backbone of our nation. IDs should be required to vote, period. No excuses. You show an ID for everything else in this great nation, so IDs should be required to vote!
