MILTON - Leroy W. Willey, 68, of Milton passed away on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013 at Bayhealth/Milford Memorial Hospital in Milford. Leroy was born in Milton, Del., the son of the late Layton J. and Mildred (Leighton) Willey. He was a fork lift operator for Baltimore Air Coil in Milford for 20 years. He enjoyed playing golf, and was a social member of the Milton V.F.W., Sons of American Legion in Lewes and the Lewes Moose Lodge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gail Willey; and brother, John Willey. He is survived by his daughter, Stacy Christenson of Millsboro; son, Lance Willey of Trappe, Md; brother, George Willey of Lewes; sister, Harriet Long of Harrington; four grandchildren, Mark Christenson II, Danielle Christenson, Justin Willey and Yeva Willey. Funeral Services will be held Monday, Aug. 26, 2013 at Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, Del., where friends may call after 12:00 noon. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Milton. Flowers accepted or contributions may be made to: American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21803-0163.
