MILFORD - Leroy A. Rockwell passed away on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013 at the Delaware Veterans Home in Milford. He was born in Frackville, Pa., the son of the late Warren Carl and Jennie Alta (Fetterman) Rockwell. He had worked at the Hosiery Mill in Milton in the 1960's. He attended the Milford First Baptist Church. He enjoyed drawing and painting portraits. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Leola (Rhoades) Rockwell in 2002. He is survived by his son, Jerry Rockwell and wife Nancy of Milford; daughter, Cedonna and husband John of Martinsburg, W.Va.; sister, Mary Stauffer of Buffalo, N.Y.; and four grandchildren, Tammy Rockwell, Phil Rockwell and his wife Stephanie, Marvin McMillian and Carolyn Smith; six great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson. Funeral Services will be held Monday, Jan. 28, 2013 at noon in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral, 119 N.W. Front St., Milford, DE, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Interment will be in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro.
