Lek Ginter, 80
Dover - Lek Ginter (nee Khomthinkaew), 80, of Dover, Delaware, passed away on August 15, 2023, in Bangkok, Thailand. Born on March 4, 1943, in Bangkok, Lek was a dedicated and hardworking individual who always lent a helping hand to friends in need. She was particularly devoted to assisting her less fortunate family members throughout her life.
Lek's love for her family was paramount. She is survived by her loving daughters, Joy Ginter Cox (Rick) and Jody Ginter Mihok (Josh), as well as her cherished grandchildren, Andrew and Kate Cox, and Jacey Mihok. Lek was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Ginter.
In her free time, Lek found joy in working at the commissary, playing Bingo, and being with her grandchildren. These activities provided her with much-needed relaxation and moments of happiness.
Private services will be held in Lek's homeland, allowing her family and close friends to honor her memory and bid their final farewells.
Lek Ginter will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to her loved ones, her strong work ethic, and her generous spirit. She leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
