Lake Forest hires new administrator

FELTON — Sheralyn Wiley is joining the Lake Forest School District as the new supervisor of special programs.

Ms. Wiley comes to Lake Forest by way of the Christina School District and has extensive expertise in special education.

“I am excited about the opportunity to support the district’s special education students and their families as a collaborative leader and learner to ensure all students have equitable access to education,” she said in a prepared statement. “I am committed to working collaboratively with all stakeholders to guarantee that every child has the opportunity to experience success in our district and to help ensure that the Lake Forest School District continues to be the model of excellence in education."

Ms. Wiley replaces Bernardette Maxwell, who is retiring after 30 years of service in education.
