DOVER — The Kent County Crime Watch community organization will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Kent County Levy Court building.
The group hasn’t met since March 2020 due to COVID-19, said board member Roger Hollopeter. Masks are required inside Levy Court.
Members of the group, which includes around 125 communities in the county, are focused on watching out for potential crime issues in their neighborhoods and reporting information to police, Mr. Hollopeter said.
Representatives from Delaware State Police troops 3 and 9 are scheduled to attend Thursday’s gathering, along with officials from Levy Court and the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control.
For more information, contact Mr. Hollopeter at 242-9670 or group president Ricky Maddox at 423-2688.
