WYOMING - Kelly L. McMillan passed away Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at Kent General Hospital. Kelly was born on April 16, 1960, in Wilmington, Del. She formerly had a home day care until her retirement and then enjoyed life as a homemaker. She loved children and being with family. She is survived by her parents, Richard and Lavernon (Valentine) Milsom of Bear; loving husband of 33 years, Vernon McMillan; twins, Michael McMillan and his wife Kristen of Indian Trail, N.C. and Monica Sipes and her husband Michael of Greensboro, Md.; son, Darren McMillan and his fiancé Ashley Calhoun of Wyoming; four grandchildren, Natalie, Landon, Wyatt, Zachery and one on the way; brother, Scott Milsom and his wife Cindy of Clayton; sister, Wendy Wilson and her husband Larry of Middletown; and several nieces, nephews and friends. Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may gather two hours earlier. Burial will be private in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Breast Cancer Coalition, 165 Commerce Way, Suite 2, Dover, DE 19904. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
