DOVER - A 15-year-old Dover male was arrested in connection with an arson at the YMCA on Feb. 16, police said.
The incident occurred at the YMCA at 1137 S. State Street at approximately p.m., Dover Police spokesman Master Cpl. Ryan Schmid said. Investigation determined that the juvenile was a suspect and warrants were obtained, police said.
The juvenile turned himself in to Dover Police on Feb. 18, Cpl. Schmid said. He was charged with first-degree arson, first-degree reckless endangering (multiple counts), and criminal mischief. He was committed to Stevenson House Juvenile Detention Center on $56,000 secured bond.
