Juno Beach - June C. Goddard passed away Friday, Aug. 14, 2015. June is survived by her husband of 67 years Lt. Col. Alvin E. Goddard, USAF Ret; nephew, John Jellinek of Colorado Springs, Colo.; cousin, William Arasz of Lakewood, N.J. June graduated from Manasquan High School in 1945 and attended Art College in Newburgh, N.Y. She studied with art professionals of note such as Ken Goering of Colorado Springs; Faure Harada of Tokyo, Japan and Allison Stillwell of Guam, Mich. She taught oil painting for beginners at Colorado Springs and also was the Past President of Colorado Springs Art Guild. June was a volunteer at military hospitals. She was a Sunday school teacher in Guam, Mich. and at Clark A Base. She made a home for her husband at 17 locations in the U.S and in the Pacific. June was a prime example of an Air Force Officers wife for 20 years and many more years after Alvin retired from active duty in 1971. There will be a Cryptside service for June on Thursday, Aug. 20th 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Riverside Memorial Park in Tequesta.
