PITTSVILLE - Julia E. Birch died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018, at Atlantic General Hospital. Born in Parsonsburg she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Ruth Morris.
She worked at Gant Shirt Factory, on a poultry farm for many years, and then for the Wicomico County Landfill. She enjoyed sewing, fishing and camping.
She is survived by her sons, Robert Birch of Berlin, Ronald Birch of Willards, Wayne Birch of Powellville and Keith Birch of Salisbury; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Tommy Morris; three sisters, Joyce Vance, Frances Gross and Ruthie Morris; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Robert L. Birch; and an infant son.
A funeral service was held Friday, March 2, 2018, at Bounds Funeral Home in Salisbury. Interment was in Springhill Memory Gardens.
