Judy Ann Hummel

CAMDEN - Judy Ann Hummel, passed away Friday, Sept. 7, 2012 in her home. Judy was born on October 8, 1956 in Washington, DC., daughter of the late Alfred and Betty Hummel. She worked at the Dover Air Force Base Exchange in several positions. Her last position was with the Shopette. Because if her fondness for animals, she had volunteered with the SPCA for several years. Her favorite place was in the cat room where she fed and cared for the cats and kittens. Judy is survived by four brothers, Alfred H. Hummel, Jr. and his wife Rosemary of Frederick, Md.; David L. Hummel of Anchorage, Alaska, Dennis Hummel and his wife Sharilyn of Camden, Michael Hummel and his wife Karen of Magnolia; several nieces; and nephews. Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 14, 2012 in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Safe Haven Animal Sanctuary, 19022 Shingle Point Rd., Georgetown, DE 19947. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com
