
CHESTERTOWN, Md. - Juanita Ann Hurley died Apr. 24, 2017 in Compass Regional Hospice Home, Centreville, Md.
Mrs. Hurley was born in Somerset County on Dec. 25, 1929, daughter of the late Herman and Annie McGrath Bloodsworth. In 1964 she moved to Chestertown, Md., where she had worked for Kent County Public Schools in the cafeteria for 20 years, McCord's Department Store and Washington College. She enjoyed traveling especially cruises and the American Southwest U.S.
Mrs. Hurley loved animals and her cats.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Wanda Lee Willing and Olive P. Horner; and her brother, John E. Larmore.
Mrs. Hurley is survived by her husband of 68 years, William A. Hurley; her children, William H. 'Rick' Hurley, Connie R. Gsell and husband, David and John Anthony 'Tony' Hurley and his life partner, Dr. Robert E. Wilson, all of Chestertown; granddaughters, Tracy Abram (Mike) and Brandy Pinder (Roger-'Buddy'); two great-grandaughters, Ariel and Logan Pinder; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Friday, Apr. 28, 2017, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, Md., where funeral service will begin at 12 p.m. Burial in Crumpton Cemetery.
