Joyce Mary Krumpet, 83

ROCK HALL, Md. - Joyce Mary Krumpet, of Rock Hall, died Saturday, March 22, 2008, at home. She was 83.

She was born Oct. 16, 1924, in Bronx, N.Y., daughter of the late James Sartell and Lola "Turner" Sartell.

Mrs. Krumpet was a 1942 graduate of Scotch Plains Fanwood High School.

She married her late husband, John Henry Krumpet, on Sept. 9, 1945, in the Fanwood Presbyterian Church in Fanwood, N.J.

Mrs. Krumpet and her husband moved from Fanwood to Kent County in 1974.

She was a member of American Legion Post 36 and of the Ladies of the Elks.

Her hobbies included reading, cooking, baking, and breeding cocker spaniels. She also enjoyed going out to dinner and dancing.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Krumpet was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Krumpet.

She is survived by two daughters, Nancy Dolgos and husband Alex of Chestertown, and Donna McCallen and husband K.C. of Hillsboro, N.J.; five grandchildren, John Dolgos and wife Amy of Chestertown, Bonnie Dolgos of Salisbury, Keith Goldan and wife Catherine of Downingtown, Pa., Dana Sealander and husband Doug of Hillsboro, N.J., Jason Goldan and wife Heather of Lebanon, N.J.; and seven great-grandchildren, Christina Goldan, Sonia Goldan, Ryan Sealander, Ella Sealander, Grant Goldan, Brinkley Dolgos and Chase Dolgos.

Services will be 3 p.m. Friday in Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home, 130 Speer Road, Chestertown, where friends may call two hours prior to the service.

Interment will be private in Chester Cemetery in Chestertown.
