MILFORD - Joyce Mae Stull of Milford passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Milford Hospital. She was 70. She was born May 16, 1943 in Seaford, the daughter of the late Robert Sammons and Kathleen Wheatley Sammons. She graduated from Seaford High School class of 1960. Joyce had previously worked for the sewing factory in Blades, also at West Seaford Elementary School and at Super Thrift. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church near Oak Grove and Calvary Methodist Church in Milford. She was a wonderful cook and baker and was known for the famous peanut butter fudge. She was a caregiver all the time to everyone and loved and adored her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Palmer, Jr.; a brother, John Sammons, Sr.; and three sisters, Doris Walden, Mary Ann Hill, and Faye Adams. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Curt Stull; a son, Robert "Bobby" Palmer, Sr. of Felton; four grandchildren, Robert Palmer, Jr. of Harrington, Meagan Palmer of Reading, Pa., James Curtis Palmer of Odessa, Texas, Michael Sheets of Florida; a sister, Marjorie Baker of Laurel; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014 at Bethel United Methodist Church with Pastor Linda Esesleman and Pastor Diane Melson officiating.
