DENTON, MD - Joyce Helen States, formerly of Greensboro, died on Feb. 1, 2013 at Caroline Nursing Home. She is survived by her children, Frances Kostkowski, Violet Gillan (Danny), Merry Donaway (Randy), Jay Hobbs (Sadie), Leslie States (Sandy) and Wynette Martin (John); sister, Violet Allen; many grandchildren and great grandchildren . A visitation will be on Tues., Feb. 5, 2013 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, Greensboro, where the funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Wed. Feb. 6, 2013.
