DOVER - Joseph Lee Beck, Sr. died Sept. 28, 2012, at Wilmington Hospital. Joe was born Dec. 22, 1968, in Wilmington, Del. He worked as a plumber for Morris Mechanical in Wilmington. He was a New York Giants fan and loved being with family and friends. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Joann and Jack Yeomans of Townsend; his wife of 23 years, Wendy Beck of Dover; son, Joe Beck, Jr. of Dover; daughter, Christa Frazier of Frederica; brother, Steven Beck of Delaware City, Del.; sister, Sharon Beck of Wilmington; grandchildren, Sophia and Lucas Frazier; and father in law, Harry Melnick of Magnolia. A viewing will be held from 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road, (Rt.10), Dover, DE. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Kent County SPCA, 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE 19934.
