DOVER - Joseph E. Wheatley passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012 from Pancreatic Cancer. He is preceded in death by his father, Al Sabbato. He is survived by his wife, Athena Wheatley; his mother, Rose Sabbato; three brothers; one sister; one daughter; and two granddaughters. There will be no services. In lieu of flowers, contributions for expenses may be made to Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave. Camden, DE 19934 and any other contributions can be sent to Athena Wheatley, 126 Stardust Dr. Dover, DE 19904.
