DOVER - Joseph A. Dickerson, Sr., passed away Oct. 3, 2013 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. He was the son of the late William Sr., and Ann (Kotzman) Dickerson. He was a graduate of Father Judge High School. Joseph worked as an Air Force Transportation Material Handler at Dover Air Force Base. He is survived by three children, Renee Dickerson Dill, of Hartly, Joseph Dickerson Jr., husband of Cyrena, of Hartly, Thomas Dickerson, husband of Erin, of Hockessin; two brothers, William Dickerson Jr., of New Providence, Pa. and Dennis Dickerson, of Dover; and six grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St, Lancaster, PA 17602, with Father Mark Weiss officiating. A viewing will take place 2-3PM at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Sharon Hill Cemetery in Dover, DE on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013 at noon.
