CLAYTON - Jose Ramos Nieves, Sr. of Clayton, DE passed away on Friday, February 28, 2014 at Kent General Hospital in Dover, DE. Mr. Nieves was born July 15, 1940 in Puerto Rico. He retired after many years as a Machine Operator. Jose enjoyed being with his dogs and he loved the outdoors. He is survived by his son, Jose Ramos Nieves, Jr.; five grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and best friends, Carlos and Pete. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 12 noon at Blanco Faith Community Church, located at 2795 Downs Chapel Rd., in Clayton, DE. Burial will be private. Condolence letters may be sent by visiting www.fariesfuneralhome.com.
