John R. Warfield, 84 HUDSON - John R. Warfield, 84, of Hudson, passed away on Friday, July 16, 2010, at the Chesapeake Woods Center in Cambridge. He was born in Dorchester County on March 14, 1926, and was a son of the late George and Cora Marshall Warfield. A funeral service was held on Tuesday July 20 at 1 p.m. at the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with the Rev. Pam Bockart officiating. The family received friends during the hour preceding the service. Interment followed at Dorchester Memorial Park. Pallbearers were be Calvert Warfield, Ronnie Warfield, Jimmy Condon, George T. Wittstadt, Kenneth Warfield and Raymond Warfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spedden United Methodist Church, c/o Mrs. Carolyn Wright, 507 Gay Street, Cambridge, MD 21613 or to the Neck District Fire Co., 945 Cooks Point Road, Cambridge, MD 21613.
