SMYRNA - John R. Baker, Jr. passed away at his home on Friday, Aug. 12, 2016. He was born Dec. 17, 1978 in Wilmington, the son of John R. Baker, Sr. and Cheryl A. Baker of Smyrna. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Michael A. and Mark A. Baker; three children, John, III, Veronica and Cody; his granddaughter, Ameea Henderson; and several aunts, uncles and extended family members. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2016 at 11 a.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main St. in Smyrna.
