LINCOLN - John Moran, passed away on Tues., Sept. 18, 2012 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. He was born in Hempstead, N.Y., the son of late Raleigh Tylee and Edith Moran. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He worked at Perdue for 30 years. He is survived by his children, Shaun, Damien, Steven, Brittany Moran; grandchildren, Christopher and Paul Reed; aunt, Katherine Wood; sister, Mary Ann Dupree; nieces, Debbie Hults and Cheryl Shahan; nephew, Eddie Hults; and his brother-in-law, Joseph Kling. Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 21, 2012 in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, where friends may call 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Interment will be at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
