MILFORD - John "Jack" L. Olson, of Lawrenceville, N.J. and formerly of Milford, Del., passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012. Born March 18, 1922 in Chester, Pa., he lived most of his life in Delaware before moving to Lawrenceville in 2008. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Ruth Olson; son and daughter-in-law Gregory and Robin Olson of West Windsor, N.J.; granddaughter and husband Meghan and Justin Morse; granddaughter Laura Olson; grandsons and wives Thomas and Jessica Olson and Matthew and Kathryn Olson; and great-grandsons Jeremy and Nathan Morse. Visitation will be held Sunday, Sept. 9th, 2012 from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Monday, Sept. 10, 2012 at 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, DE. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Apostle Church, 506 Seabury Ave., Milford, DE. on Monday, Sept. 10, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Dover, DE. In lieu of flowers, the family respectively requests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association - Central Regional Office at Princeton, 196 Princeton-Hightstown Road, Bldg. 2, Suite 11, Princeton Junction, NJ 08550.
