GEORGETOWN - John F. Kenney passed away on Wed., Feb. 13, 2013 at home. John was born in Seaford, Del. He was a truck driver for Jackson-Hewitt in Seaford. He enjoyed bowling, watching football and baseball, especially the Dallas Cowboys and Baltimore Orioles. He was preceded in death by his father, L. Richard Kenney; and mother, V. Faye Sheridan Turner. He is survived by his sister, Kelly Truitt and her husband Wheat of Georgetown; niece, Aimee Truitt and her fiance' Brian Nailer; aunts and uncles, Richard and Bunny Sheridan, John Sheridan, Larry and Cathie Sheridan and niece Hailey Evans. A memorial service will be held Tues., Feb. 19, 2013 at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, DE. A visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday night. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
