HARRINGTON - Joann Wyatt, passed into the presence of the Lord on Thurs., Sept. 27, 2012 at the Bayhealth- Milford Memorial Hospital. Joann was born Oct. 8, 1949 to the late Leo and Marion Liska. Mrs. Wyatt worked at the Magnolia Post Office for 25 years. She also worked for many years at the Harrington Journal writing articles, and selling Avon. She always kept busy and volunteered her time to many organizations including St. Judes, Lake Forest band boosters, and Girl Scouts. She loved to garden and loved her daily Bible devotions. She was quite crafty and enjoyed making collages out of church bulletins and painting on velvet. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels in her backyard, and loved her two indoor concures birds. Mrs. Wyatt knew a lot of people and enjoyed interacting with her many friends. She enjoyed a good story and good company. She cared for her family immensely and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed. Mrs. Wyatt was a member of the Independent Bible Fellowship Church. Joann is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Fred "Sonny" Wyatt Jr. of Harrington; her son and daughter in law, Fredrick "Freddy" Wyatt III (Tamilyn) of Harrington; daughters and sons in law – Loriann Fortin (Ron) of Seaford, Shauna Beyer (Danny) of Harrington ,Jennie Saunders (Jason) of Fla.; sister, Marionlee Armburst of Pa.; 18 grandchildren, Brad, Chad, Christopher Fortin; Kaitlyn, Justin Wyatt; Daniel, Travis, Benjamin, Zachary, Brock, Jordan, Christian, Tiffany, Bethany Beyer; Kyler, Logan, Jace, Larah Saunders; three great-grandchildren , Marrissa Cox-Beyer, Khaidyn Wyatt, and Tristan Beyer. A service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tues. Oct. 2, 2012, at Independent Bible Fellowship Church, Rt. 14 in Harrington. Family and friends are welcome to visit two hours prior to the service.
