HARRINGTON - Joan E. Brown of Harrington died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2007, in Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital. She was 69.

Mrs. Brown was born Aug. 15, 1938, in Milford, daughter of the late Thomas J. and Elsie E. (Cooper) Bradley.

She owned and operated Joanie"s Frames & Things, Milford, for 18 1/2 years. She opened the shop in 1984 and retired in 2002, selling her business to a new owner who still operates in the same location today.

Mrs. Brown enjoyed traveling and camping with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas J. Bradley Jr. and Samuel Bradley; and two sisters, Lillian King and Nancy Boyer.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Earl G. Brown; two sons, Harry F. Morgan Jr. of Six Mile, S.C., and William T. Morgan of Vero Beach, Fla.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Marie and Robert Bradley of Lincoln, and Frances and Roy White of Milford; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Cool of Ohio; two brothers-in-law and their wives, Dennis and Nancy Brown of West Virginia and Carl and Sue Brown of Virginia; six grandchildren, Lisa Simons and her husband Shane, Tye Morgan and his wife Lindsay, Josh Morgan, Will Morgan, Samantha Morgan and Zach Morgan; and twin great-grandsons, Blaine Simons and Brayson Simons.

Services will be noon Friday in Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave., Milford, where friends may call two hours prior.

Burial will be in the Lincoln Cemetery.
