Jeanette Woodley Lynch, 88

LITTLE CREEK - Jeanette Woodley Lynch, passed away Jan. 12, 2009, in her daughters home in Little Creek, she was 88. Mrs. Lynch was born in Wilmington, Feb.24, 1920, moved to Little Creek at one year of age. Mrs. Lynch was the daughter of Henry "Rusty" Woodley and his wife Elma Boggs Woodley. Mrs. Lynch was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Irvin Smith Lynch Jr. in 1988; and a sister, Audrey J. Kreighbaum in 1990. Mrs. Lynch worked at the Elkton Powder plant during the war and 16 years at International Playtex. She was a lifetime member of Little Creek Vol. Fire Dept. Ladies Aux. and a lifetime member of H.V.C.C. of Delaware Antique Car Club. Mrs. Lynch is survived by a son, David Lynch, of Wilmington; a daughter, Donna J. Tribbitt and her husband John W. Tribbitt of Little Creek; eight grandsons, Patrick S. Lynch of Virginia, Irvin S. Lynch III and his wife Amy also of Virginia, Michael S. Rinehart II and his wife Sherri of Wilmington, Matthew R.D. Rinehart of Little Creek, Wesley J. Tribbitt and Kyle J. Tribbitt both of Newark, and Aaron J. and Marshall J. Tribbitt both of Little Creek. The light of her life was her two great-granddaughters, Allison P. Rinehart of Wilmington and Emma J. F. Lynch of Virginia; a brother-in-law, Carl R. Kreighbaum; and a very special nephew Robert H. Kreighbaum both of Little Creek; sister-in-law, Elizabeth J. Little of Little Creek; and a special couple, Kevin and Linda McBride of New Bern, N.C., as well as several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lynch loved to crochet, and do puzzles, but most of all being with her loving family. Remembrance Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Trader funeral Home 12 Lotus St., Dover. Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sharon Hill Memorial Park Dover. Letters of condolences may be sent to www.delmarvaobits.com or traderfh@aol.com.
