HARRINGTON - Jean S. Kotowski, of Harrington, died Tuesday, March 25, 2008. She was 69.
She was born in Holyoke, Mass., to the late Theodore and Alice Couture.
She was an assistant nurse for the Holyoke Hospital in Massachusetts.
She was a homebody, but enjoyed going out to eat.
She met Robert, her companion, for the first time when he was stationed in Massachusetts in 1957. They later reconnected after all those years.
Mrs. Kotowski was a member of the St. Bernadette Catholic Church of Harrington.
She is survived by her loving companion of 12 years, Robert Butler of Harrington; son, Mike Kotowski of Chicopee, Mass.; daughter, Theresa Crowley of Charlton, Mass.; sisters, Yzette Guile of Chicopee, Clara Barns of Holyoke, Mass., and Viola Benoit of W. Springfield, Mass.; and one grandchild.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Monday in St. Bernadette Catholic Church, Harrington.
Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are by the Melvin Funeral Home, Harrington.
