HARRINGTON - Jean M. Hopkins died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012 at home. She is the daughter of the late William I. Grant and Margaret Ethel Holland. Mrs. Hopkins worked for the Delaware State News in Dover for 40 + years and was a member of the Camden Wyoming Moose #203 where she was also bartended. She enjoyed camping. She was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas McFarland. She is survived by her husband, Buster; one daughter, Taddy Butler and her husband Kevin; one brother, Allen McFarland; two step-daughters, Terri and Traci Hopkins; and six grandchildren, Brittany Butler, Shania, Hunter and Jade Branham and George and Anya Thompson; and her special four legged friend her cocker spaniel, T.C. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, in the chapel of Berry Short Funeral Home, Main Street, Felton, where friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. for a viewing. Interment will be Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington, DE. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
