DOVER - Jean Ayrault passed away Wed., Aug. 14, 2013, in Kent General Hospital, Dover. Jean was born, Sept. 28, 1928, in Kingwood, W. Va., to the late Lawrence and Lucille(Trowbridge) Griffith. She attended St. John's Lutheran Church, in Dover. Jean enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Darling; and her brother, Edward Griffith. Jean is survived by her husband of 63 years, Carl S. Ayrault; a daughter, Susan Graham and her husband Drew of Hartly; four grandchildren, Heather D. Moore of Easton, Md., Edward C. Darling of Denton, Md., M. Evan Graham of Clermont, Fla. and Stacy L. Mignano of Huntington Beach, Calif.; 12 great-grandchildren; two sister in laws, Anne Shults of Henderson, Md. and Margaret Clarke of Dover; and son in law, Edward Darling of Denton, Md. Memorial service will be 11 a.m., Sat., Aug. 17, 2013, in Pippin Funeral Home, 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE; where family and friends may gather from 10 to 11 a.m. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
