DOVER - Janis Krasts of Dover, passed away suddenly on Oct. 7, 2014. He was born on June 27, 1952, in West Chester, Pennsylvania to the late Karlis and Alida Krasts. He was 62 years old. Janis worked for many years as an Accountant, until retiring to care for his ailing mother. He was an avid gardener, and also a skilled craftsman. He enjoyed woodcarving, and perfected the art of sculpting ducks. Janis loved being outdoors, spending most weekends boating and fishing with his sons, teaching them from an early age. They share fond memories of working on projects together, Janis always believing it was best to fix things himself. Janis leaves behind his son, Brian, and his wife Kristin; son, Eriks; grandchildren, Alexis and Aiden; brother, Aivars; and nephews Nick and Andrew.
