DENTON - Janice D. Wright 76, formerly of Cambridge passed away on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006, at Memorial Hospital in Easton.

She was born in Cambridge on July 5, 1930, and was a daughter of the late Raymond James and Irene English Dodson.

Ms. Wright graduated from Hurlock High School in 1948, and went on to nursing school at the Eastern Shore State Hospital in Cambridge and graduated in 1959. She worked as a LPN at the Eastern Shore State Hospital for 26 years until she became disabled in 1984 because of an automobile accident.

Ms. Wright was a member of the Cambridge Wesleyan Church.

She is survived by a granddaughter, Katherine Wright of Eden; a great-granddaughter, Adriana Wright of Eden, and a special friend, Gladys Eskridge of Seaford.

Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Raymond T. Wright.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A., in Cambridge with the Rev. Joseph C. Harmon and the Rev. Paul Dieter officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
