WILMINGTON - Jane D. Slaughter, age 74, of Wilmington, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013 at Regal Heights Health Care in Hockessin. Jane is survived by a daughter, Janet Harris of Wilmington; five grandchildren, Janae, Jaylah, Larry, Kapana, and Simone; her mother, Helen Slaughter of Clayton; two brothers, Edward Slaughter and his wife, Melody of Port Penn, and John Slaughter and his wife, Patricia Ann of Clayton; two sisters, Helen Borkholder and her husband, Sam of Middletown, Md. and Roberta Slaughter Pollard of Powder Spring, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Condolence letters may be sent by visiting www.fariesfuneralhome.com.
