James Thomas Pierotti

Pierotti, 62 MAGNOLIA - James Thomas Pierotti passed away Wednesday Jan. 23, 2013 at the VA Medical Center in Coatesville, Pa. Mr. Pierotti was born Nov. 9, 1950 in Buffalo, N.Y. to Evelyn Bayliss Pierotti and the late Harry E. Pierotti, Jr. He was a lead singer in the Rogues Band in Buffalo, N.Y. from 1965 to 1968. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam as a Combat Medic. Mr. Pierotti was a salesman for Nautilus equipment and luxury vehicles. Mr. Pierotti lived in Florida, California, New York, and New Jersey before retiring in Delaware. He traveled to the Orient, Hawaii and Australia. He loved to ride his Harley to the beach and just around town. He enjoyed fine music, movies, clothing, golf and spending time with his family, friends and fellow veterans. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert J. Pierotti; and sister, Susan L. Mayock. He is survived by his mother, Evelyn B. Pierotti of Magnolia; brother, David E. Pierotti of Magnolia; sister, Patricia A. Hawkins and her husband Ben of Dover, and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m Saturday Feb. 2, 2013 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Calvary Assembly of God Church, 1141 E. Lebanon Road, Dover, DE 19901. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guest book signed at torbertfuneral.com.
