FELTON - James R. Carruthers of Felton, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013 in his home with wife and children surrounding him. He was born on February 19, 1947 in Baltimore, Md. the son of Richard and Edith Carruthers. He retired from Advance Auto in Milford, after many years. He is survived by his wife, Georgianna Carruthers; three daughters, Deborah (Leroy) Jamisen , Barbara Delosh, and Jamie (Allen) Bawel; nine grandchildren; Joseph and Dakota Delosh, Erica, Hannah, Casey Olseon, Shyanne and Roxann Bawel, Regina Roseboro and Tyler Jamisen; two great-grandchildren, Ajay Johnson and Tahnee Johnson; two sisters, Barbara Watkins and Ellen (Ray) Lurz; three nephews, Russell Watkins, Billy Watkins and Ray Lurz, Jr.; one sister-in-law, Cindy (Tom) Wisneski. He had may close friends, Don and Sharkens Lukens, Dannie and Lisa Lukens, Christine and Jarmaine Harris, Les berry, Chaplain Brian, Joey and Cindy, Victoria V., The Rosko family and many more friends. We want to send out a special Thank you to The Medical Oncology Center at Bayhealth Medical Center for all the love and support to the family.
