CAMDEN-WYOMING - James Farrall passed away Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, in the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford surrounded by his loving family. James was born on April 29, 1938, in Wilmington, Del., son of the late Norman and Mary (Jones) Farrall. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy for four years. He was a member of the asbestos workers union Local #42 and worked doing asbestos installation. He more recently worked as a self-employed inspection contractor. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW and the Southside Baptist Church, Dover. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, James Paul Farrall in 2003; and his brother, Robert Farrall. James is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Leota Farrall; daughter, Pamela Rae Altemus and her husband Rodney of Harrington; two brothers, Kenneth Farrall of Newark, and Richard Farrall of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Mary Lou Bass of Viola and Jean Peterson of Oregon; and two grandchildren, Amanda Altemus and Steven Altemus both of Harrington. Service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where visitation will be two hours earlier. Burial will be private in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
