James Ezekiel Hembree Jr.

Hembree, Jr GEORGETOWN - James Ezekiel Hembree, Jr. passed away Dec. 28, 2012 in care of Delaware Hospice Center, in Milford. Our "Pop" and "Pa-Paw" loved his children, grandchildren, his dogs, cars, watching wrestling and riding his moped around the streets of Georgetown. He served in the army in his early years. He worked for Virginia Homes for many years, with First State Community Action being his most recent place of work. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, James and Molly Hembree, of Maryville, Tenn.; and a son, Jamie Hembree. He is survived by his children, Michael Eugene Hembree, Timothy James Hembree, Mary Ann Emory, Brenda Lee Brasure, Jovan Hembree and Marcus Hembree and Laura Pusey, his lifelong companion; six grandchildren, Danielle Chupp, Kelly Emory, Amanda Brasure, Angela Pierre, Julius Cameron Hembree and Gage Lee Hembree; brothers and sisters, Leo Hembree, of Knoxville, Tenn., Pearl and Frank Tallent, of Georgetown, Dorothy Withrow, of Louisville, Tenn., Gerald Hembree, of Alcoa, Tenn. and Odell Hembree, of Maryville, Tenn. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
