HARTLY - James Edward Kains of Hartly passed away Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Pinnacle Rehab, Smyrna. He was 31. James was born May 14, 1983 in Cresthill, Illinois to Robert Kains and Kathleen "Sue" Gora Kains. He had worked at B.J's Wholesale Club in Newark as a cashier and unloader. James also did demos at Walmart. He enjoyed Geocaching, '80s music, cooking and watching movies and The Big Bang Theory. James was a member of Unitarian Univerilists of Central Delaware. James is survived by his parents, Robert and Kathleen Kains of Cresthill, Ill.; his spouse, Ricky Shehorn, Jr.; sister, Holly Noel Kiens of Cresthill, Ill.; in laws, Richard and Charolenne Shehorn of Hartly; and his dogs, Rascle and Oliver. A celebration of life will be 6 p.m., Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior.
