FARMINGTON - James E. (Jimmy) Vincent passed away Monday, Oct. 26, 2015 at Kent General Hospital, Bayhealth Medical Center, Dover. Jimmy was born in Milford, Del. the son of the late George and Jane (Faulkner) Vincent. Jimmy graduated Greenwood High School in 1965 and was a member of the basketball team. He also enjoyed drag racing at U.S. 13 Dragway in Delmar. Jimmy lived on the family farm since he was 6 months old. He was truly a lifetime farmer and after his retirement from Canteen as a mechanic in 1990 he was able to farm full time. Ricky Webb worked closely with Jimmy on the farm and was a dear friend and caregiver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Lisa Vincent in 2013, three brothers Kenneth Lee Vincent, Billy Vincent and Donald Vincent and a sister Janet Mullins. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Jacquelyn (Jackie) Vincent; two sons Robert Vincent and Kenny Vincent and his wife Caryl; seven grandchildren Ian Jarrell and his wife Alicia, Dylan Vincent, Brianna Krause, Delaney Vincent, Kenny Lee Vincent, Kyle Vincent and Cheyenne Krause and 4 great grandchildren.
