ACCOMAC - James E. Vance died Friday, Dec. 22, 2017, at Shore Memorial Hospital. He was the son of the late Jack and Annie Vance.
He worked in construction for most of his life.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Gloria A. Rowley; children, Bryan Vance of Mardela Springs, Sheree Marsey of Blades, Jessica Vance of Berlin and Christy Vance of Hebron; brothers, Fred Vance of Pittsville, Roy Vance of Salisbury and Nancy Malnor of Libertytown; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
A funeral service will be held today, Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017, at 2 p.m., at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private.
